777 Tour gig in Toronto on Thursday night went on right as scheduled, but she kept her Swedish audience waiting on Friday (November 16) by hitting the stage at Berns nightclub two hours and 45 minutes late. However, if the crowd was antsy, you wouldn’t have known it, as their chanting for the singer during the tail-end of opener
DJ Congorock‘s set exploded into ecstatic cheering once the
“Diamonds” diva and her band finally walked into the open.
Naturally, the bleary-eyed fans and journalists along for the 777 ride were in tow at Berns, even if landing in Stockholm just as the sun was setting at 3 p.m. made for an extra groggy evening. That said, we may all be on Unapologetic Ri Ri’s time, but it’s been a fun journey so far.
